Roaring Sisters:
Empowering Your Health Journey
Resources
This is not a "how-to book." It belongs in the romance, comedy, and drama sections. I hope my collection of stories help me move forward along the path of expressing love and gratitude, my spark plugs. Love among women means encouragement, vulnerability, and the brave risk to love differently. It means to support, have fun, and compliment one another. It means to survive and flourish together.
I wonder if Grandma looked at her ring like I do with my bracelet, if she touched it, which warmed her heart and soul as she thought of the sons she lost. I embrace the appreciation of diversity, including differences in gender, sexual preference, parenting styles, political opinions, and more...

Follow the path of one woman’s battle for health while you learn how she turned pain and doubt into faith and gratitude in this poignantly detailed chronological story. Four Years and Counting…My Search for Normal takes the reader on a personal journey from June 2020 through 2024, learning that each day is truly a blessing. This book is the first in a two-book series. Readers will be intrigued to keep reading and follow up with I’m a Ferrari, Baby! and celebrate the successes along the “greatest race of Gail’s life.”
Gail shares an open, candid experience from what she calls the best trip of her life. After fighting years of a multitude of health deficits, traditional medical practices were not working. She found alternative, functional medicine through God’s divine intervention and the work of a lifelong friend. Gail shares, “I came to find some answers and a healing path. What I never anticipated was to find experiences and people who would forever change my life. “
Gail’s words are inspirational and factual, and she creates a sense of gratitude for the simple things in life. She reflects on an awareness that we are not alone in any journey of life and celebrates the chance meetings of strangers along the way. Gail’s journey improved her health and inspired her to cofound a non-profit organization and share it with fellow patients. Her work has just begun on the next part of her journey.
Who
we are
Our founders are a powerful group of women who discovered each other while all on a healing journey in Clearwater, Florida. We were all going to the same functional health clinic for different reasons: breast cancer, Pars Plantis, Lyme disease, mold infections, and multiple autoimmune problems caused by vaccine injuries.
We are not always healthy, but we are fighters. We are not quitters; we are lovers. Our ages range from 24 to 70. We represent Kansas, Michigan, Florida, and Georgia. We are mothers, wives, girlfriends, farmers, adult children, professional career women, and caregivers to others.
Roaring Sisters was founded to assist people seeking functional medicine. It’s an entirely different perspective and operates as a for-profit business. Oftentimes nothing is covered by insurance. Drawing from our own first-hand experience, we share resources to help you navigate decisions that will cost money regardless of the illness or proposed treatment plan. Our input is meant to support your care and protect your pocketbook.
Remember, functional medicine providers are almost always cash-only businesses, so choosing this path is worth the research now rather than waiting until you face a treatment plan with pressure to “pay in full today for a substantial discount.” The information we provide here is to empower you to make decisions based on facts and real-life experience, instead of accepting everything you will be told in an assessment or new patient appointment.
With that being said, none of us regret our choice to pursue functional medicine. All of us first burned through many traditional medical practices only to be told we were fine and handed prescriptions to suppress our symptoms.
We are just wiser now. We know how to navigate efficiently, and it’s a navigation that we love to share.
We have lots of plans. They include providing funding for critical tests that are not covered by insurance for those in need and to contribute to temporary housing options for those who need to travel away from home for treatment. But first and foremost, we are providing informational materials and connections to support you on what can be a lonely journey through a challenging healing process for you or a loved one.
